KOHALA performs to sold-out venues in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo

The group will make appearances in California - the Bay Area and San Diego from July 14 through July 23.

Kokua for Katrina - A benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Katrina

This Sunday from 3 p.m. to midnight at Kapono's in the Aloha Tower Marketplace

Headliners include: Kohala featuring Grammy award-winning artist Charles Brotman and local favorites C&K, Kalapana, Barefoot Natives featuring Eric Gilliom & Willie K., Inoa Ole, the Opihi Pickers, Amy Gilliom, Ooklah the Moc, Harold Kama, Jr. and many more come together Broadcast live on KFVE, KGMB, KHNL, KHON, KITV, PBS and OC16. and simultaneously on Hawaii's major television network affiliates this Sunday, September 18, between 4 and 6 p.m.

2005 Na Hoku Hanohano Award

Palm Records and Charles Michael Brotman brought home another award at the Na Hoku Hanohano Award ceremony Friday night June 3rd in Honolulu. Charles accepted the award in person for Hula! Big Island Style at Friday's dinner ceremony in front of 1100 attendees and statewide television.

At the close of the ceremony, Brotman, Hawaii's First GRAMMY® Award recipient introduced the artists who participated on Palm Records GRAMMY® CD, who were all center stage with him. The GRAMMY® group proceeded to lead the televised closing with the song Hawaii Aloha
